About Us

We are a child care center located in Paron, AR. We currently serve 2-5-year-olds. We also have an afterschool program that serves school-aged children. We have a strong balance in natural, academic, and social-emotional learning. Students enrolled at the Harvest School will experience outdoor classrooms, rich academic instruction, and the ability to harvest their own skills.

 Our Program

Our program at The Harvest School has a deep-rooted focus on nature, student interest, and meeting the needs of all students. We follow the Explorer's Model Curriculum fused with a systematically designed curriculum to serve individualized needs and a high emphasis on learning through nature and project-based learning. We offer a balance of rich academic curriculum, outdoor learning opportunities, and effective social-emotional nurturing woven into everyday learning.

Children are encouraged to actively participate in their own daily educational development. The Harvest School provides these opportunities to children through project-based learning, outdoor classrooms, small group instruction, explicit phonics instruction, engaging centers, and natural exploration.

Every part of the day is planned and structured to meet the needs of every child. We strive to cultivate the interests and strengths of each child. Through daily exploration, together we will harvest the learning of children.

About the Harvest School

The Harvest School is a child care center that serves ages 2-5 years and an afterschool program for school-aged children. The Harvest School, LLC was opened due to the need for a child care center in the Paron community.  It was named The Harvest School because children all cultivate a harvest. It may be in different areas, but they deserve to be in an environment that helps them cultivate their harvest.
